Summary of Position: A Vice President at BST has responsibility for developing and maintaining senior client relationships with a combined focus on the quality execution of all client work and the development of business with new and existing clients. A Vice President is viewed by clients as a senior consulting professional.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop new clients for BST in key target vertical industries and organizations.
- Manage all aspects of global client relationships.
- Achieve revenue development targets in existing and new client relationships. A successful Vice President at BST generates $4 million or more.
- Manage relationships to ensure all BST services are customized to provide maximum benefit for clients.
- Develop relationships with clients in such a way that BST is viewed as a trusted partner and advisor and that BST’s value-add is seen in the context of the clients’ business goals.
- Orchestrate resources within BST to maximize client satisfaction and project execution.
Essential Qualifications:
- Strong operational experience, understands production and performance improvement specifically in a manufacturing environment
- Senior level consulting experience in a field requiring analytical skills, business acumen, operations and process skills, change management, and leadership development.
- Used to interacting with senior level executives as well as “C” suite executives
- Strong relationship building skills both internally and externally
- A successful track record as a consultant developing new clients and expanding work with existing clients.
- Ideally, experience in both larger corporate or consulting firm environments as well as a in a more entrepreneurial setting.
- A strong understanding of the Global Consulting business
- An ability to listen and, at the same time, an innate intelligence and communication skills which influence people.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- A strong team orientation and experience in team professional settings.
- A strong client first orientation – committed to serving clients.
- Ideally, experience in one or more of the following industries:
- Aerospace
- Chemicals/Petrochemicals

Physical Demands:
Position requires 50% travel; 2-3 nights a week
Location: US
Summary of Position: Responsible for facilitating organizational change programs to achieve safety performance improvement at client sites.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Evaluate organizational issues, advise client organization leadership, and implement safety culture change initiatives using BST’s proprietary methods
- Conduct workshops and presentations for groups large and small, across all levels of an organization
- Provide coaching to senior and mid-level leaders in client organizations
- Manage client projects to achieve high level of client excellence; develop work plans; deliver work on-time and within budget constraints; and coordinate work with other consultants
- Identify new business opportunities within client organizations and work to support new business generation
- Contribute to thought leadership by developing new materials, writing articles for publication, and participating in problem-solving teams
- Support intervention design for routine opportunities
- Pilot new products in support of product and service development
- Support BST’s Safety in Action conference by developing and delivering sessions
Required Skills and Experience:
- Ability to identify problems, apply critical thinking, and research potential solutions

Position Title: Proposals Specialist
Reports to: Martha Espeset, Proposals Manager
Status: Full-time, Non-exempt
Location: Boston, MA
Summary:
The Proposals Specialist partners with the proposal author on all aspects of client proposal development. The Proposal Specialist thinks strategically and contributes to the proposal process in a useful and collaborative manner. This individual will ensure accuracy and integrity of documentation, coordinating internal flow, reviewing all proposal inputs, and producing final proposal for BST’s high-profile clients.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with vice presidents and consultants to
- Help articulate strategies for delivering solutions that meet the client’s objective
- Ensure proposal content clearly and persuasively describes services and benefits and is geared toward readers' needs and knowledge level
- Leverage templates and previous proposal language to transfer best practices and solutions from previous submissions similar in size, scope and complexity
- When appropriate, work with a team of subject matter experts to collaborate on strategy and proposal content under the leadership of the opportunity owner
- Edit and proofread proposals for readability, consistency, and appropriate tone describing company capabilities, approach, and/or past performance
- Meet proposal deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for writing, review, and approval
- Assist with creation and maintenance of templates, working closely with colleagues to write new content and refine existing content
- Collaborate with contracts department to ensure appropriate review and hand-off when necessary
- Understand nuances of our various services and review complex pricing strategies for consistency and thoroughness.
- Demonstrate a strong client service orientation in all interactions and activities, toward both internal and external clients.

Position Title: Customer Relationship Specialist
Reports to: Suneeta Mellacheruvu, Manager Vertical Markets Development
Status: Full-time, Exempt
Location: Austin, TX
Summary of Position:
This high impact role is responsible for creating and identifying sales opportunities in existing and new accounts through inbound and outbound activities, lead nurturing and other demand generation activities. This position contributes to the outside sales pipeline, creating a higher probability of booking business in the short term.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow-up on incoming web enquiries and leads
- Cultivate relationships within new and existing and clients/prospects through outbound prospecting activities, identify opportunities, decision makers and related needs
- Understanding the prospective client’s situation and needs to effectively articulate through verbal and written communication the features, benefits, and business value proposition
- Work with the outside sales force to proactively develop market and increase market penetration
- Develop and qualify leads contributing to a sustainable pipeline for the U.S. sales team
- Close small deals directly, as well as, in conjunction with outside sales team members
- Drive attendance to public events through focused telephone and email campaigns
- Occasionally travel to trade shows to interface with clients and prospects on-site
Required Skills and Experience:
- B to B Inside Sales Experience (at least 2 years)
- Strong prospecting and cold calling skills
- Ability to develop strong and genuine client relationships; high personal credibility with all organizational levels
- High degree of professionalism and skill in verbal and written communications with a positive, professional “total customer service” attitude
